When I first looked at this Halloween Bear popup card, I thought it was cute but overpriced. Because I’m a Vine Voice member I was able to order it for free in return for an honest review, so I ordered it. And when the card arrived and I opened it up, my first thought was “Yowza! This really IS worth the price.” The thing is, this probably isn’t the kind of card you would send to just everyone. It’s one that you likely send to a special friend or relative. It’s meticulously handcrafted and it shows. The bear is intricately detailed and made from high quality materials. The card when folded measures 5 by 7 inches. Unlike a lot of pop-up greeting cards, this one sits flat when unfolded and the pop-up is so well-crafted that every aspect of it is 3-dimensional. This is not, I repeat, NOT your average mass market greeting card. It’s so well-made and so adorable that the recipient will likely want to keep it for use as a Halloween decoration for years to come. That’s what I’m doing with mine. Once opened it and saw the full effect, well, there was no way that I was going to give it away. It has officially become my all-time favorite Halloween decoration and will be prominently displayed on my living room coffee table every fall in the weeks leading up to Halloween.
